I know Christmas can be a challenging time for a lot of women when it comes to food. I used to worry about how much I'd end up eating, or how I could try to avoid certain foods without telling anyone I was on a diet and every year I'd end up over indulging, feeling frustrated and beating myself up.
I'd end the Christmas season feeling bloated, ashamed and saying 'on the 1st of January I'm back on the diet and that's it, I'm really going to lose this weight'. It was a soul destroying cycle and quite frankly I'd dread the new year coming round because I knew it would be a repeat of the year before, another year of dreaded diets and depriving myself of food.
