This was me a few years ago!
I spent many years caught in this cycle desperate to lose weight thinking that would make me happy, I restricted my food, obsessed over the scales and drove myself slowly insane. It didn't work!
My break through came when I realised that it was more important to address WHY I was eating and running certain behaviours around food as opposed to what I was eating. This shift in approach allowed me to overcome emotional eating, heal my relationship with food and learn to love and respect my body again! Now I'm on a mission to share this with other women around the world so they can do the same!

Who Am I?
Hey, I'm Leanne
If we haven't met properly yet, I'm the founder of Mind Over Muffin and an Emotional Eating Expert. I struggled for many years with emotional eating, binge eating and weight loss. I gained 17kgs by eating to cover up my emotions and then feel so bad about myself that I'd eat again to make myself feel better, oh what a frustrating vicious circle!

I tried every diet out there, I cut out carbs, cut out fat, restricted my calories, lived on crackers, went on hunger strikes, did body wraps, took weight loss pills, slimming shakes, went to bootcamps, joined the gym, bought workout DVD's and none of it would work for me long term. It was a nightmare. I decided I was a failure and was destined to be this way forever, hit my lowest point and wanted to crawl in a hole and hide.
Skip forward 5 years and here I am fully transformed, having lost the weight (without having to diet) feeling confident and comfortable in my body again, loving life and showing other woman how to do the same!
I want to let you in on a secret, the answer is NOT in food focused, restrictive, soul crushing plans, it's in YOU. That's right!
The answers to solve this problem already exist right inside of you, you just need to know the tools to unlock them.
You see, when I hit my lowest point I felt out of control emotionally and physically so I started to work on my emotions and the things I was carrying from the past (a bad break up, being cheated on and not feeling I was good enough) and from doing this, by letting go of this internal weight I was carrying and filling myself up with life instead of food, everything started to change.
The emotional eating stopped, the weight started to shift and most importantly I started to love being me again!
