There's a lot more to losing weight than counting calories and running on a treadmill. In fact those two things are the least effective approach when you have an emotional connection to food. Learning to stop bingeing, overeating, secret eating, stress eating or whatever type of eating it is you're doing is a game changer and essential if you want to lose weight and keep it off.
I spent many years doing the diet approach, believing if I just tried one more time I'd lose weight and stop eating but I was wrong. But once I looked within myself and understood WHY I wanted to eat and realised the real reasons WHY I was using food (for comfort, reward, happiness, stress relief) and WHY my body was storing extra weight, everything changed.
Meditation was one of tools that helped me totally transform my eating habits to the point of never emotionally eating or bingeing since I overcame it over 10 years ago. It also helped me to lose 15kgs without dieting, all by calming my mind, reprogramming the habitual habits that weren't helping me and learning to love myself again.
Meditation will help you become more present and mindful in yourself so you can be that way with food as well.
